Christa Fairchild was born in Milwaukee, a weird and wacky metropolitan area. When she was in her twenties, with a BA and secondary teaching certification under her belt, she moved to the Cornhusker state to teach at Boy's Town. She met her future husband, had two children, and now lives in Columbus, Nebraska. Christa's first book, DUCHESS ON THE RUN, was released in July 2005.
