"Eragon"
by Crystal B. Bright

Who knew that one egg could start such turmoil? Eragon, a young farm boy, stumbles upon what he thinks is a polished blue stone while hunting in an enchanted forest. What he doesn't know is that the stone is really an egg. Contained in the egg: a baby dragon that has waited to hatch to be with its rightful owner, Eragon. As the two struggle with their new relationship, Eragon must come to grips with his newfound role, that of a Rider, a person who is able to ride dragons, a rare breed in this time. If Eragon is unable to master his dragon, a small community will be slaughtered by a ruthless king.

Full of excitement, warmth, charm and mystery, "Eragon" is the perfect flick to watch with the entire family. Be warned. It's this reviewer's understanding that this storyline is intended to be a trilogy. So expect an ending that does not tie up all of the loose ends but still satisfies.
